Nothing. You describe the job, we quote it, and you decide. There's no call-out fee for quoting and no obligation to go ahead.

Because honest prices depend on the actual job. Two 'bathroom renovations' can be a week apart in labour, and a fence repair can be one post or twenty. We'd rather quote your real job than publish teaser prices that change on arrival.

Constantly. Hanging one shelf, fixing one hinge, caulking one tub — that's a real part of what this platform is for. Batching several small jobs into one visit gets you the best value.

People qualified for that kind of work. For regulated trades, Ontario sets the rules: electrical work is performed by Licensed Electrical Contractors, gas work by TSSA-certified technicians, plumbing by licensed plumbers. Those jobs are routed accordingly, always.

Depends on the job and your municipality. Like-for-like repairs usually don't; finishing a basement, structural changes, second suites and larger decks usually do. Permit needs are raised during quoting, and we link to your municipality's building department on our local pages.

Usually the same day. Urgent problems — active leaks, no heat, storm damage — get flagged in the form and treated as urgent.

We take requests from anywhere in Ontario. Our most active areas are the GTA, Hamilton, Ottawa, Kitchener-Waterloo, London and the larger centres, but smaller towns are welcome to ask.
