Flat-pack furniture is designed to be assembled once, in the right order, with every cam lock tightened the same amount. Do it wrong and you get a wobbly bookcase and three mystery screws left in the bag. An experienced assembler has built the same PAX wardrobe or Hemnes dresser dozens of times and knows where the instructions get vague.

We assemble anything that comes in a box: IKEA, Wayfair, Structube, Costco, office furniture, cribs, gym equipment. Bigger pieces like wardrobes and bunk beds really benefit from a second set of hands — most of the damage we see comes from one person trying to flip a half-built frame alone.
